Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Commodex platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, producers, buyers, custodians, assayers, and financiers.

2. Platform Description

Commodex provides a blockchain-powered multi-commodity trading infrastructure. The platform facilitates escrow-protected transactions for cocoa, coffee, gold, cobalt, coltan, and other commodities. We are not a broker, dealer, or financial institution. All transactions are executed through verified smart contracts.

3. User Obligations

• Provide accurate and complete KYC/AML documentation
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and 2FA tokens
• Ensure all commodities meet stated specifications and quality standards
• Comply with all applicable export controls, sanctions, and trade regulations
• Do not engage in money laundering, fraud, or market manipulation

4. Escrow & Settlement

Funds are held in smart contract escrow until all verification steps are completed. The 8-step verify-then-release mechanism must be fully satisfied before settlement. Platform fees (0.5%) are deducted at settlement. In case of disputes, funds remain locked pending arbitration.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content, code, trademarks, and blockchain infrastructure are the exclusive property of Commodex / ICM LTD Venture Studio. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

Commodex is provided "as is." We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain network failures, commodity price volatility, force majeure events, or user negligence. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Geneva, Switzerland under ICC rules.
